The inaugurali Run & Rock for Lifesavers'event, inspired by the First Responders Day Act, willbeheld SaturdayJune 1stat the Ray Twinney RecreationComplex in Newmarket, Ontario.The eventwill consistof a1/5/10km run, Full Battle Rattleteamevent,followed by aconcert inside the Ray Twinney Complex.

Theconcert will showcasevariousFirst Responders bands to befollowedbyour headlining band GlassTiger. There will also beseveral "special guest" appearances thatyouwill notwanttomiss!

Themental healthof lifesavers affects allof us. It is our hope that civilians,community partners and First Responders cancometogetheron June1,2013to have fun, run, rock and help us raise awareness about the challengesof Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Proceedsof theevent willbededicated to PTSDresearch in emergency services andcontinuedoutreach within the First Respondercommunity.
